And now, an attempt to divert us back to finished DIY Projects.

Someone posted their first finished DIY Project five days ago, and didn't get a single comment about that finished DIY Project.

Not very encouraging to someone who just Finished their first DIY Project.

(If my sarcasm about the recent direction of this topic didn't come through, consider building a new sarcasm meter as your next finished DIY Project.)

Awesome. First one is always tough. It feels great when it is finished and working! Lots of room for improvement, though. :poke:

I'd like to say it gets easier, but usually it doesn't. Circuits get more complex, fit-and-finish gets more demanding, and enclosures get smaller.

The led itself could be knackererd. Or too much heat when soldering. Diodes don't like heat very much. I've burned them out soldering them before I knew what a heat sink was.

I haven't posted a build in a while as I've been pretty loaded down with other things. Finally built something for myself. Madbean's take on the DMM circuit with a PT2399 chip.

The graphic is based on Leonardo Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man. It's obviously a modernized version; I'm quite pleased with the way the etch plate turned out. I did my best to capture some of the little details of the original. :-)

Man, so many great looking DIY projects here... my first humble submission:

FKR (four knob rat) build with LM308N IC, soft and hard clipping options, Ruetz mod, etc:

Axis face build with volume pot and bias, voltage starve, gain, and pre-gain on trims on the PCB:
