Try rolling back the guitars tone. I get so much more predictable results that way. :)

But if you're feeding it hot signals, it will go ape shit.

Still a wild pedal, but it's a little more consistent in it's flutter that way.
Yeah I know what you mean. I've also noticed that I can manipulate and cause further modulation by rolling the volume down and up after hitting a note. I'm trying to time the tape warping sounds in with the notes I'm playing nd then have it start to spiral out of control into those mechanical sounds.

Ah, nice. I gotta check that out. Tips on taming your Seppuku's. Gotta love that.

I actually like the judder better, it's far more interesting and unpredictable. It might be my favorite glitch pedal. The hexe is more consistent and has this digital sheen to the sound that is pleasing....it also is better for processong a track to get like a cd skipping, the judder is more raw sounding. I don't have the current production judder, but the controls on mine are set up to get more glitchy madness than is possible from the hexe. I'd say go for the judder if you want unpredictable glitch, or the hexe if you want precise glitches. The judder is more hands on too, it's a pedal that benefits from tweaking knobs. They are both awesome and you can't really go wrong

I'm finding that with some fuzz getting the kk to cause a sustained warping drone is really easy and then I can manipulate the sound with the volume knob to cause weird modulation and the pickup selectors to cause further mayhem.

My guess is that the Judder is closer to the Possessed than it is to the Revolver II.
There's also the MWFX Glitch which seems pretty interesting too but I think it isn't really a rhythmic glitch machine as much.
I have the Revolver II and I agree it has a lot of variety in great mechanical and consistent glitch type sounds, especially when you use it with an expression pedal you can get some more standard yet on the fly tweakable loop type sounds out of it as well.
good deals with: the_brow, phantasmagorovich, alexsga, DarkAxel, goroth, The Wood Wizard, Tendollarcat, vbps, monkeydancer, intothegroove, Brobee

that's a fair comparison with the possessed, though it is possible to do looping/reversed looping with the judder too.

The Glitch pedal is interesting and not sample based. The glitch sounds go from flowing water to choppy glitches, and there is a knob that changes the pitch range of the sound. It's quite unique.

Hey, here is a prototype white noise synth from Mountinking Electronics called the Space Storm. It is an instrument unto itself ans has a cv/external clock input so I grabbed the closest pedal with cv out..a noise swash and try it out at one point. Really cool sounding pedal but I would be surprised if he put it into production.

Hey there, here is the Lastgasp Art Laboratories Sick Pitch King. Much wider range than the sick pitch king jr. And has some tasty grit with my single coil mustang.

The sick pitch king sounds pretty sweet. Still curious how it works with some unitque carrier oscillators. It seems to have almost as much range as the Moogerfooger but the character of the Jr. Those ghost pedals are really nice too, man.
