Yeah, detune on the PS-2 can create som really cold, harsh chorus. The delay on it is really cold as well.

Disagree. One of the few digital pedals I love the sound of. It actually sounds pretty warm to me.

Agree. For all its functionality, I couldn't really get past the lack of warmth with this analog flanger.

I'm surprised no one has said RV3 for delay yet, the BF2 also gets pretty metallic and chorusy

Boss BF-2 might be the coldest "modulation" pedal of any kind ever made. Fookin' love it.

It's the only flanger I've gotten along with, I'm on number 3 or 4 at this point

I really like a dd-3 for cold digital delays. It sounds really good though and the repeats are all defined and present sounding.

Haven't owned too many Chorus pedals but the coldest I've owned was a TC SCF from the 80s. Not artificially cold, just good clean cold chorus. I think they still make it and I think the Corona chorus has a SCF mode on it, or maybe a SCF toneprint?

The flange and pitch mod on the SCF aren't that great but the chorus is. I used it on bass a fair bit in the 90s. It has a scooped sound with sparkly highs. The old ones have an attached ac cord on it which is part of why I sold mine, it just didn't fit in my mental scheme of having a board with a power supply and such.

They're expensive new but once in a while you'll see an old one for cheap.

The Boss Dimension chorus pedals and their derivatives would probably be a good choice too.
