Your music is as cool as your art!
I mean that in a good way just to clarify. :bob:

I really enjoyed the clips on there. Water Worn was my favorite of the two, though Northern Highland is pretty nice to listen to, especially the synth piano. Guess the songs will appear on the new album?

Just something about the tone of the guitar annoys me. It's not bad, but I feel like I've heard it 100 times before.

And what is this art? If it's as good as the music, it must be great.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?

Thanks for listening. These songs will appear on the album, though Northern Highland will be going thru some changes, adding a bunch of ambient stuff and some more percussion. Sorry to hear you weren't a big fan of the guitar tone, I do my best to keep it interesting but will admit I am a novice when it comes to gear, which is the main reason I have been hanging around this board learning about stuff from people here. It really has been a vast resource of knowledge.

Northern Highland - Around 3:50 or so in, I love the sound of the guitar disintegrating into an understated but devastating hailstorm of iron filings, the kind that stick to magnets dragged through playground sand.

Ditto the ambient guitar at 5:50-ish in Water Worn, and the feedback and delicate plinking behind the nut or bridge sounds nice as well. Nice rainy day music. Love this feedback at the end of the song. Thanks.

thanks for checking them out...the plinking behind the nut was a happy accident. I didn't bring my synth that I normally play to conserve on space for the trip so I ended up just improvising that part. glad it turned out alright

You guys sound really good. Was this a live performance? It all seemed super tight (or if it wasn't, you played it off well!).

It was all live. They had us set up in a big room mic'd us and gave us a head phones mix and let us play for 15 minutes. the drums were isolated by a partition wall. It was a lot of fun.

+1 - I liked it a lot. Definitely let us know when you've got more stuff to share!

We are going back into the studio on feb.6th and we will begin working on the album from scratch. We recorded the whole album in july but we are going to start over to try and capture everything better especially the drums. We are also reworking a majority of the songs now that we heard the recordings from july. It should be interesting..I will definately post things here when I get them, everyone has been great with feedback about the songs. :bob:
