I think this is kind of cool. I wish it wouldn't have gone south and it's really, really sad to see it so close to production, but not make it.

I will try to clarify a bit. If there are other questions, feel free to ask.

The reason is failed is there is a LOT of money necessary to get production going on a scale that would make things affordable. Custom enclosures, etc are very expensive. The initial cost was way too much, since we wouldn't get the benefit of a big launch due to the kickstarter failure.

Ken has been paid for his work, as far as I know, and was not interested in making this happen.

We did buy the business from Devi, we are NOT licensing these circuits - not sure why she chose that wording. But we don't want the headache of putting the Console into production, so if someone else does for real, contact us.

Article is douchey and I'm sure that site is full of dickheads, but for Devi/Grace to say that the donation was somehow a way of making up for letting people down, when in fact it is yet another betrayal of the backers, well that's a load of crap indeed. Add the pathetic starvation suicide threats etc and you've got another shitstorm of drama and self pity. Aka another classic Devi Ever move, and I'm sorry to say this but a stereotypical trans person move. I support anyone's need to reassign themselves to the gender they are most comfortable with, but there seems to be a common strain of self-absorbed melodrama and constant dissatisfaction among the trans people I've encountered. I guess it is a symptom of the disorientation, sadness and confusion that seems to come with their conditions, but it doesn't help the cause.
