Maybe a US ILFer will be rad enough to be the middle man and get the stuff to this side of the Atlantic?
Good deals: OsbornKT, Phantasmagorovich, UglyCasanova, DarkAxel, Skip, D.o.S, ColdBrightSunlight, Eivind August, Goroth

Re: Ernie Ball VP Jr...Alternatives?
Just ordered a kit on ebay. I'm now having a small piece of string being shipped over from the UK, for almost half of what I spend on the damn pedal
I know for a fact that it'll take me at least another 30 mins to get the job done, IF I even manage to pull it off. Shit like that pisses me off. Sorry.

That's the plan. I'll try to fix the VP jr, so I can flip it to fund something less fragile.ramonovski wrote:Time to try a Dunlop DVP1 maybe?

Re: Ernie Ball VP Jr...Alternatives?
Just tought I'd finishg this with a last update:
The overpriced pieces of string came in the mail today. It was an annoying, frustrating finnicky experience, but it took me 10 mins at most, and the pedal now works like new again.
For now :s

I almost pulled the trigger on one of those as an expression pedal. Are they built pretty well? I think it would work well for me as an adjuster because I just ain't that great at wigglin' my leg all funky like.karmablock wrote:There is always this.

Re: Ernie Ball VP Jr...Alternatives?
I returned my vp jr. right after I got it and got the mvp. I like it a lot, works well to tame signal for other pedals and I personally like the sweep of the eb treadles.
but what are guitar pedals...really..?

Re: Ernie Ball VP Jr...Alternatives?
Yeah, my limited experience with other brands is kinda confirmed by what I read online...The sweep on the VP Jr is pretty rad I guess. Too bad there's no way of getting the same feel/sweep from another affordable vol pedal that's not so...irreliable :s
