Here's what the pedal will have... 5 knobs and 2 stomp switches (shit, and 2 LEDs to go with them... I forgot to put the LED bezels on there)
#1
#2
#3
#4
Feel free post your own ideas, too. If I use one belonging to someone here, I might just have to build them a pedal...

I like #1 the best but #4 is cool too... i'd just be worried about crushing the two knobs above the switches when I'm in the throes of ROCK.

3 would be the most practical, i need room to stomp the switch and 3 would give me enough room, also it would more likely fit on my board vertically rather than horizontal. What will the pedal do????

It's a continuation on an overdrive pedal I build now. The controls are gain, tone, mids, level, and now boost.

I think I like the second one the best... but you could move the switches back to make it look less cluttered, maybe.

3's got a nice balance to it, but I've been dinged before for making/liking everything too symmetrical...

There's video on the way. In the meantime, I recorded a basic classic rock rhythm sound clip:
http://www.anonym.to/?http://www.box.ne ... ys6zuf3iuj Telecaster --> overdrive --> Vox Valvetronix 1x10 combo set clean, increasing pedal gain each time I played the riff

I was waiting for someone to chime in with the HUGE knob suggestion.

use #3 but make the bottom knob huge and the rest of the knobs extra small.

I've been commissioned to do one like #4 with large MXR style knobs on top and the small ones on the bottom. Nice!
