I like the Grizzly. The pre amp doesn't sound that good though. Did it kind of take the punch out of your MTD?

I actually like it a lot. It's hard to match volumes when turning knobs all the time in demos so I get where it might seem like it's taking some mojo away.

It definitely didn't take anything away from MTD, but you really need to sit and fine tune the mid freq control.

Another great use is to use this AFTER a fuzz/distortion for 2 completely different tones. I'll definitely be putting it on my board.

Oh, and the fact that's it's one of the few preamps to run at 24 volts is great.

It comes with its own 12v adapter and doubled internally so it has the headroom to handle pretty much anything.

Great demo dude! That pedal should have been way more popular round here. Sucks that it's discontinued.
