An MK1 Tone Bender would have been much cooler and would have grabbed my attention. Not that I'm important or matter. Buuut a Rams Head with boosted mids is pretty easy to build... $180!? That's wild. Plus the expectation of looking like a nest inside like every other pedal I've had of his.... I should stop

Supposedly the band had a lot of input into the circuit, so maybe they just wanted a Ram's Head with boosted mids...

I seriously doubt Ryan did anything because of the Bluebeard. I mean, yea similarities, but it's not like a Ram's Head is a unique circuit. I'm just happy to see dude progressing. He's turned into one of my favorite builders because he's super humble and extremely nice. Also his newer builds are improving in quality, so he's getting better.

AHAHAHA! You asshole! hahaha

So for instance the new reverb he put out the Afterlife has much cleaner guts. It may be because the pcb to case is much closer in size, so the wires are shorter. But trust me, I've rewired so many fucking pedals now, and Ryan is not the only builder out there that doesn't do super pretty wiring. I could name several builders on this site alone that I've had to redo.
