I just ordered an Abominable Electronics Toke Machine which is a circuit based off the Tone Machine. I really like his stuff so I have a board full of it. Also on my to get list is a few of the Lone Wolf Fuzz Pedals. Mainly The Pale Goat. The Witch Burner is on my Queue as well as finally getting The Quantum Mystic. Keep on the look out for Dunn O))) Pedals. They are getting ready to be released and can vouch for the workmanship going into them. I am in love with the proto-type Single Knob fuzz he has. Best one I have ever heard.

In all seriousness, I've tried replacing my FZ-2 every year for about 15 straight years and it's still on my board.

The Fuzz I setting rules.

Probably, never had a chance to play a real meathead to compare.

I've been messing around with the recovery pedals 'bad comrade' and while it's not a traditional fuzz, I really like the anger + squealing sounds I can get from it.

+1 I also love this mode so much! It is very organic sounding and makes my guitar sing.

it isn't fuzz but I'm really looking forward to the Witch Burner. It seems like it will be something I can stack with my fuzz for maximum badassery.

This. It was my first fuzz pedal, almost 20 years ago. I wasn't ready for it then, so I sold it, only to buy another one a couple years later. Other superfuzz clones have come and gone since, none of 'em could touch the FZ-2.

On topic again, new fuzz peds that got my attention: I'm waiting patiently for more demos of the Fuzz Bear and the Fuzz Master General. And I'll settle for a single demo of the SS/BS Buzzz. That's not recorded with an iphone

It's the first and often considered the best bass muff with mids (thats also usable on guitar). So it's got tone and legacy.
