Post by behndy »

annnnnnd not that McMillan thing. had one, the whole thing was smaller than my foot. noooooot very useful.

i used an FCB1010 in a similar way, but it is not smaller and not dedicated to that purpose.

roland has(had?) a dedicated line of bass foot midi controller thingy's similar to the taurus, the PK-5, 6, 7 etc. you'd probably be able to find one of those cheap on the bay, under $500 if not cheaper.

I've got the Roland PK-5A that I use mostly to control my Minitaur. I don't have a case for it, so I hate to move it around, and I think it's about the same size as the Taurus. I kinda dig it, haven't ever thought about getting anything else to replace it.

I've got one from the 80's by Fast Forward Designs or something like that (I covered it in duct tape and velcro, turning it into the ugliest/sexiest combination bass pedals/pedalboard ever). That motherfucker is tough as shit. I just throw it in my car anywhere it fits when I go do shows and it took a nasty hit when I got rear ended in November and works perfectly. I've also got Taurus 3's and a few other analog bass pedal setups but I never take them out of the house because it's so much easier to carry that one. Think I paid like, a hundred and fifty bucks for it on eBay.
I play guitar and modular synthesizer in Juggable Offense.

welllll crap the Midi Step looks perfect. gimme yours?

i know there were some guys with a site selling midi conversion kits for organ pedals, but i tried to order off of them like 3 times and they flaked out each time.

urf. the Rolands look neat but kinda big as hell? i would love a long box with soft touch footie switches, but that's a whole custom thing and i dunno who to hit up for that.

DABNABIT.
