Our collections look eerily similar.

Really sweet album, for sure. I only recently started listening to them though... *guards face*

video is down. is this their latest release since tunnel blanket? is it good or beyond cliche post-rock?

I listened to 'Tunnel Blanket' and it was a revelation. 'Another Language' is not nearly as dark.

Tunnel Blanket is undoubtedly my favorite of theirs. I haven't even bought Another Language cuz ut didnt grab me from the bandcamp site. Moving away from the post rocky song structure which was a bit more minimal on Tunnel Blanket. I personally liked the focus on textures.

I fucking love the siren-like sound on the last track.

This. When I heard 'Little Smoke' and 'Black Dunes' it was unlike I had ever encountered. Really remarkable job making fuzzy drones sound interesting for 7+ minutes. Edit: To be clear, I do really also like 'Another Language'. The Reykjavík live recording is really good, too.

Semi on-topic: Chris King (guitarist) put out a solo record last year that focuses a lot on textures.

Thanks for this. I remember reading about it, but finally took some time to listen. It's really great.
