So major update! The Bee Baa does not like being in SMD at least with the way we were creating this pedal. Roy did everything he could there was just no way to salvage the Bee Baa circuit with what we were asking it to do. Which sucks.
So we made a decision to base the fuzz on a IC Muff. Now this will not be a muff clone, so do not even think that for a second! This will be a very modified fuzz pedal that will offer extreme lows and great sustain.
So while my heart was in the Bee Baa and I may be releasing that as a second fuzz pedal just more simplified, it would not work. The circuit just does not like what we were doing to it and would not stop oscillating. You can't even get a guitar signal through it. So totally useless.
What this means though, is this pedal will be even more bass friendly.
With the mods we are doing, eq, dirty blend, removing a gain stage of the muff, etc, this will be amazing.
We are simply using a gain structure of the muff, that's it. It's not a literal muff and won't sound like one.
SO what we are doing new.
Instead of having a second stomp with a mids boost/cut, I am having Roy add a second gain/boost stage to blow that fucker up when engaged. So you will still get two totally different tweakable tones, but only one mids knob now, Which I think is a good decision.
Everything else is staying the same.
OH! And Douglas from Darkglass will be helping a small regards to the design.

So now you know it will be bass friendly. God I love Roy and Doug.
This is definitely setting us back on the time though. So don't hold you money. Just move on and I'll get this fucker out as soon as humanly possible.
