Types of paints
What types of paints to paint the box? Acrylic or solvent that you use? Do I need to cover the box with soil?

Re: Types of paints
either way you go , acrylic or solvent ... I would start with a good self etching primer to make sure it sticks in all weather. unless you are just doing a clear coat by itself or covering a sticker. a heat gun set on low in between coats can help keep it rock hard and on the substrate.

If a pedal on my board feels ashamed, it needs to find a new home.

Pretty much any spray can stuff can be used after the box is primed.
Hobby shop paints come in some cool colors too.

Traditionally people use enamel
I use acrylic because it's cleaner to use, but colors are less bright than enamel.

Re: Types of paints
Im try acrylic
1 layer spray acrylic, create tone color
2 layer my paints
3 layer transparent spray
perhaps even add decorative elements, sequins and all that should be fun.
It remains only to buy paint, I think I get, I want to try so long to do design for the pedals. Tired of printing the design on sticky paper.
