I'm asking because I came up on a Carvin X100B as a 2nd head. not sure if there's something off with it, but my goal was to run it stereo with a VK, tho it's not powerful enough (dimed it doesn't match my vk's volume at 5

amp question
hi senseis, excuse my ignorance, but is there a benefit to 'daisy chaining' amps? what I mean is jumping the input of one amp into another. like, amp A has two inputs, you plug the guitar in one and run a cable from the other into the input of another amp.. or sending one amp's out into the other amp's effects loop return (kind of thinking this will kill one or the other...) will this make anything louder?

). so is it instead possible to use the carvin for my 'main' sound and use the VK to push it louder out of one cab?
thanks!!

Re: amp question
From what I can tell from looking at both amp's specs online, there's no easy or practical way to get the Carvin to run the Peavey. If you really want the Carvin's sound but louder, I'd look at getting it looked over by a tech (there shouldn't be that much of a discrepancy in volumes between heads through the same cab) and push more cabs and/or get more efficient speakers.
