Re: Seppuku FX
It looks like they ship to the USA. Anyone done this and have it go badly/not badly?

i've ordered two pedals from Rhys to the states with no problems. the first was a memory loss which took maybe a month from the time i ordered to get to me? i hadn't realized where he was and emailed him after maybe two weeks and he got right back to me and stayed in contact. totally smooth. the second pedal was a digital water which took a bit longer, maybe 2-3 months, but i believe that was a case of his old site letting you order things that weren't actually in stock. i ordered when i was out on tour and i totally forgot i had even ordered it once i was home so i never thought to email him or ask about anything. so it may take a little while, but a good chunk of that is the shipping services fault.
either way, i'd feel totally confident ordering from him, plus the pedals are awesome! i'm considering getting a second memory loss at some point soon...

Hey, not sure I get you. I wasn't asking if a bunch of people have read the thread. That would be a funny thing to ask especially since the view count is already posted. Not sure how you derived that but then again if I am one of the smart ones, we are all totally fucked.

Awesome, thanks for that info. I only saw the one dude having them delivered to Norway, just wanted to make sure, never ordered anything from down under before. Again, thanks so much.

Re: Seppuku FX
I'm the Norway-dude, and everything went smoothly for me. I've gotten four pedals from him. I've even exchanged a few emails with Rhys.
Uncle Grandfather, on the other hand, ordered an EcoMod months ago and I still don't believe he's gotten it, and Rhys hasn't replied to any of his emails either. Don't know what's up with that. Maybe the emails went to his spam folder or they weren't in stock and some parts are hard to get hold of. I have no idea. Rhys is slow to answer emails (if at all). I had to send him 1-3 before getting a reply sometimes. He seems really nice when he actually replies though, so I don't know if he's busy or messy when it comes to answering his customers. Too bad his pedals are too good for me to care, haha. And I've always gotten a reply in the end, and of course; tasty pedals. Ok.../rant

Re: Seppuku FX
Yeah I placed two separate orders back in October and received one in a timely manner with good communication. the second order never arrived and my emails weren't answered to the point I was getting really bummed out cause three months had gone by and no word. He recently replied and was sorry tht he overlooked the order, so it's finally being built. I chalk it up to the holidays and even though I was feeling so worried I would order from him again because his pedals are so kick ass

I got a Kassette from him like 9 months ago, no problems at all. And I love it.

I used to own a Wind War that was painted by Laura Bennetts I believe? I don't remember it looked like one of hers though. Anyway bought it from T Dalton back when I first joined the site if I recall. Tom used to carry Seppuku. Hmmmm...

Re: Seppuku FX
Just ordered a mind warp yesterday! I think the new inventory system is gonna work out great. About 9 months ago I ordered a memory loss, and I ordered it just as it went out of stock. I didn't mind the waiting time, but Rhys made it up to me by adding a lo-fi mode to it.
I've realized I want all of his pedals though. The Dynamic echo sounds so cool
