Not sure I'll do this year, the simple fact is I'm using far, far more than just the board, and it's out of context with the rest (rack, Space Echo, etc).

For me the more I've thought about it it's a case of "show your A string only" type thing what doesn't work when you're regularly running through enough devices in parallel to power a small country.

There has been one other massive rack entry as well.
I'm honestly not sure what to do with it.

Perhaps you could try putting together a small board just for the occasion?

At the very least, send in a picture of your rack and pedalboard and all that.
I'll try to find somewhere to put it, because I don't want anyone to be left out!
Maybe I'll have to make a 'behemoth' category.

Small board FWIW doesn't really work for what I do - I'm not me without the Space Echo and a couple of the rack units. I could do what I do but at that point you might as well just hand me a Deluxe and a Strat and have me go straight to feedback town!

Also a case of I'm in "Special Snowflake" category by disability in practice - on a good day, maybe one foot works, so I'm not hung up on switches but I am hung up on being able to reach 900 things around me without moving!

Fuck it, just submit a picture of your rack gear. You can make more weird sounds than half of ILF combined. Submit it in the small board category

I think we could make a case for "boards" simply being a physically deliminated, clearly arranged array of effects. So if you only do rack gear, just make sure they're all in racks, and grouped together, with the assumption that the rack case is the analog of the board. It's a physical arrangement, intentionally made. I'd vote for rfurtkamp to be able to play given that definition.

Yea, for me my desk/work area is the "board" of my old days, spread out a little so I can perch in a chair around it all without moving (I even have eight guitars in reach as well).

At least my hands and ears still work!

I said I personally hoped that was what folks were doing.
