I think one of the problems over here is that certain gear was never popular or perhaps never even sold. I've never seen a V4 turn up (not that I've been keeping track of v4s but ya whatever). When they do turn up the scarcity factor drives up the price. Also the European market was really fragmented until recently. Still is in comparison to the states. I mean, the only good gear forum in my neck of the woods is of course Swedish language. And I'm guessing good gear forums in Italy are Italian. Which kinda precludes a lot of shopping and bargain hunting.revancha wrote:The Ampeg V4b would get my vote based on that budget, the headroom, and the interaction with pedals.
