Fender Blender - Anyone Have One?

Post by MannequinRaces »

The Fender Blender. Does anyone have a reissue or an original one? If so, what do you think of it? I saw one at a local music store and learned that Fender reissued it. The pedal looks cool and sounds cool. It definitely nails the Hendrix and Smashing Pumpkins sounds that I've been looking for.

I have one from 1969 and it's a beast. Didn't like the RI at all.

Yeah, I heard a demo with some Hendrix tones out of it. What didn't you like about the reissue?

Volume drop when engaged, then the tone was just kinda...flat. All fuzzed up and all, but kinda flat. I've heard better clones.

Could you recommend one then that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Roger that. :thumb: I've been wanting a Rat also. I had a Big Muff, wasn't crazy about it so I bought a Swollen Pickle instead. If you like the Big Muff sound you should look into the Swollen Pickle.
