XP100 to Space Station mod

Post by tremolo3 »

Is anyone still offering that "mod"?

I just got an XP100 for ~$30 on a camera shop :idk: and I immediately thought on that jetpack thing mod that can turn any cheap Digitech XP into the glorious Space Station or even better, all the XP series in the same enclosure.

After a long search and finding nothing recent on the net. I only found a PDF explaining all the process but that could take me like 2 entire summers.

Any help would be appreciated :thumb:

Dude who is an admin at guitar geek.com forums was doing that all-pedals mod still when I asked a couple years ago.

Yeah, I got mine back in the day from Adam at Guitar Geek. I just contacted him via email and he responded, but that was quite a few years ago now. I emailed him at guitargeek(at)cox.net, and he also emailed me from jetpack66(at)cox.net. You might try those and see if you get a response.

Great, I'll try to contact that guy then.
I thought that site was dead.

And... What's the "good" thing about the Reverberator? I'm getting an Eventide Space soon so I stopped looking at reverbs a few months ago.

Thank you guys.

Infinite plate, mode, brah.

It's been a few years since I've owned one, but having the expression pedal to control the ducking whilst toying with the various modes (especially the Infinite plate aka mode 22 aka God Mode) was amazing. Mega washes of sound. The treadle was different for some of the different modes, though. Some of them were blends, and there were a couple others that I can't remember off the top of my head.

There is a better mod out there than the Jetpack mod (which requires turning off power of the pedal to switch between modes). This mod does not require turning of the power. I only know a guy in the Netherlands who does the mod but there's other people out there doing the same mod. If you're interested in the guy in the Netherlands, this is his site: http://www.dirk-hendrik.com/. I don't know where you're from so it may not be helpful.

Also, infinite plate is the shit, definition is for pussies

Dirk and Govt Lackey are mainstays of the pedal DIY community--solid dudes you can put some faith in.

True

Dirk Hendrix did my xp mod, it was £80 euros, absolute bargain.
He also added a out put trim so you can better balance the input sensitivity trimmer.
