Super Puzzle VS Buzzz

Post by beezlebub »

Hey, any of you all ever a/b a super puzzle vs a buzz? Or own/play through both? I know that the buzz is a souped up version of the puzzle which is a souped up version of a super fuzz, but the super puzzle has some nice subtle lower gain sounds, and I was wondering if they are still present on the buzz? Or is just for the gnarly slaughter?

My favorite setting on the Buzzz was with the gain switch set to low. I used it more like an overdrive on bass and then kicked the octave on for stacking with heavy fuzz.

Shut up. You already talked me into buying one pedal I didn't expect to this week. My bank account can't handle any more. So enough about the Buzzz on bass already. ENOUGH!!!

:why: Now I have to consider buying something else too. I have no willpower. :picard:

Anyway, I'm curious, especially since a Super Puzzle is in the BST - what is that one like on bass? I know the rare ones with the blend were pretty good, but what's the low end loss like on the non-blended ones? I'm looking for something that'll put out a mildly fuzzy (weird, I know) upper octave. Of course the Buzzz would be best, but my wallet is already aching from the unexpected Infanem purchase last week.

I'm going on a SS/BS spree one of these days. Mini, BUZZZ, TAFM. Oh yes, my friends.
