Re: The Year in GAS
So this was my board at the start of the year:

I've since flipped the BAT Pharaoh, the EQD Sea Machine and EQD Organizer (kinda regretting the Organizer), the Montreal Assembly GB24 and the VFE Blueprint Jr. delay. I also bought and flipped other pedals and hoarded a few that may yet see the chopping block here in 2015.
One of my favorite pedal purchases of the year...

The fucking swell feature is my favorite thing in the world to just be fucking around with. Stands out so great when you're playing clean and what to get a little grime in there. Not distortion grime but washy feedbacky swashy noise.
On the subject of Blackout I picked up a Whetstone off of Chank and I fucking love it. Pad phasing is so great. SLOW AS MOLASSES.
Got pretty nasty... spent some serious scratch and picked up this tele custom reissue.

and I just recently bought a BAT Coven so there's some more BAT love on my board these days.

And in the non "gear" sense but something that will still help with creative output... new iMac and some Dark Lord Imperial Stout as some of the bitching shit I got this year.

Did you get the TM6 on Ebay? I've been keeping my eyes open for Metasonix all year and no good prices damn it!

Infanem Disc Echo.

But seriously, I got a bunch of cool pedals from Schlatte, and some drone gear from Mr. Mantooth and others. Now I just need patch cables.

I got some really fun effects this year and also my first lap steel.
But I also learned no amount or variety of cool music toys will increase my productivity of music creation.
