Well if anyone wants to try to figure out how to actually place an order, here's two that'll like $140 shipped to you.
http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/kuro ... mikustomp/
http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/chuy ... tem/92646/
I use a proxy service on that site, so no idea how much of a hassle it is to buy direct.
Could pick them up to put in my next shipment if anyone's lazy, but that would mean adding shipping in japan and proxy company fees...

Does anyone know if the pedal "remembers" the lyrics that you input into the Phrase settings or if you have to re-input them each time you power it on?

After the chords and the video with the keyboard I definitely need this... My bonus check this year is getting spent almost entirely on ridiculous pedals I haven't been able to afford I think.

Re: Korg Miku stomp. I'm in love.
Got me a Miku Stomp.
Made me a demo.
This thing does way to much for me to cover all of it in a demo, and there's already a bunch on youtube of it doing singing, so this is mostly how it interacts with pedals and more "creative" uses for it.
Initial thoughts/notes:
- tracking is absolute garbage on anything lower than the G string
+ can sound pretty cool if you're not trying to make it actually sing
+ actually really likes being before distortion
+ all the voice modes are actually useful. I was anticipating at least one not being worth using
- has an input lag of around 30-100ms which makes it hard to play fast on modes other than Nyan
- if you weird it out too much, sometimes it will freeze on a note until you bypass it or send a sufficient signal through it
~uses aa batteries instead of 9 volts for some reason (still uses the standard 9v wall wart)

Played with mine today 10 minutes: that thing is the shit. If you can deal with the quirks it is awesome.

So is it just no-fucking-way time with getting this thing to track at all with a bass?

Re: Korg Miku stomp. I'm in love.
It can track the pitch of a bass just fine, the problem is that, if you play on the low strings, the lag time limits its use.

Re: Korg Miku stomp. I'm in love.
I tried it with My Mustang bass with a TV Jones PU: Works surprisingly good down to the A (5th fret E String). It works better on the upper strings - more of the vocal character of the effect than by Tracking Problems. The Tracking is generally laggy. So you could deal with it if you focus on kind of bowed performances. I think that would be the Main area to integrate the pedal in your set.
Btw: Single coils seem to get better results with my playing.

Sorry to sound like a broken record, but has anyone played with the use-your-own-lyrics aspect of this thing? I'm dying to get this thing and that function is one of the major bonuses with my current band

Re: Korg Miku stomp. I'm in love.
I can't comprehend why I want one, but I want one because vocalists are unreliable and this could fulfill all my glitchy vocal needs.
For those that do want to get one from Japan. I've used SeaServe before to get stuff over here. A little pricey but guarantees you get it. I've had issues before getting things from Japan when they realise you have an overseas bank account. Also, Hirotake at SeaServe will cater for you if this pedal is out at a certain shop or can get you a lower price if need be.
