So apparently I'm a blithering idiot. UGH! Got a DMC-6D, set it up to be synced with my Mobius, Timeline and H9 but cannot for the life of me get it to work with the Timeline. It works with the Mobius which is first in the chain, and H9 which is second, but doesn't want to control expression on the H9 either.

SO I have the midi channel set up up

Mobius-1
H9-2
Timeline-3

I followed the directions....I'm confused? What gives? I've got to be missing something here.

For the sake of the two it's working with though. Holy shit this thing is awesome.

Latest manual says that the Timeline needs to be on CH 1.

And just for the record...
I just got the DMC-6D to use it with my Timeline and it didn't work until I installed the latest firmware on it, for some reason it was only set up to control Ableton.
It was a nightmare on Win 7, so I had to borrow gf's macbook... fucking hate both OSs.

Anyways, have you tried to contact Matthew? He replies back very fast, just use the "contact" form on the Disaster Area's website.

I will contact him. I thought for some reason they had to be set up 1, 2, 3 because of the signal chain, but I did try what the manual says as well.

It should be the latest firmware because I literally just had ordered it on their Black Friday sale day and requested a Universal one. But who knows. Wonder if the Timeline needs a firmware update? That's always a possibility as well right? God I wish everything was just bluetooth. Would make life so much easier.

Last firmware version dates from June 2013, I hardly doubt your Timeline needs an update.
A Factory Reset might be good though, just backup your presets and load them later.

I wish these pedals could be 100% used without an external $200 device.

I know! LOL! Almost seems like a scam in a way, but I'm really digging the shit out of this thing so far so that extra money so well worth it. Although I hate buying utility anything. UGH.

I think the Timeline is supposed to be on midi channel one for a reason, the DMC firmware is written to control the Timeline's looper and those messages will get sent on channel 1 by default. The signal order shouldn't matter, the DMC isn't running any audio, just midi signals to control the pedals. I would try it at least and see where it gets you, manual also says h9 on channel 4. And appears to have some specific controls for that channel too.

I've never used one, but I've flirted with the idea of having one...
