Agreed on the price, I really want one but I don't think at this price with the current amount due this project will pull through honestly.BitchPudding wrote:if he reeled in the price to about $300-350 then I might bite. I get why its probably priced like that, but at the price I'd rather get a DL4.

Good point.

Honestly I'm not sure why he didn't offer several levels of funding like everyone else does. People would donate just to donate. Seems like a waste.

Truth Adam!
It seems the LP2 will be updated with some cool new features, I really want one now so I decided to back the project.
More info: https://www.facebook.com/looperlative
Please follow Looperlative Audio on Facebook to see the latest on the LP2 project. The following updates are completed:
* Prototyped an analog dry signal path. The dry signal will no longer be digitized.
* Added upgrade via SD card for the software. This allows me to release enhancements and fixes. It also will allow the creation of an LP2 customization kit for people that want to add their own digital filters and other fun stuff.
* Moved the audio files to a standard FAT filesystem that will allow you to easily copy the audio files to your computer.
Planned additional changes before the LP2 is shipped:
* Add a multiply function to replicate the audio to lengthen the loop.
* Change crystal to sample audio at a standard 48kHz sample rate.
* Change the processor to have more flash memory for future enhancements.
* Add the ability to control the functions through MIDI.

Re: Looperlative LP2
could you elaborate a bit more on what you're saying here? i do loops too but had a hard time following what you meantSeedy wrote:I was ready to click 'pay' five years ago on this thing for the simple reason that you could retrigger into a continuous loop, whereas the DL4/M9 has it only as 'play once'.
I've since had my M9 modded by JHV3 to do exactly that, with an extra switch that sends a midi signal so I can retrigger as many times as I like with play once, but then allow the loop to keep playing instead of stopping. So I don't need the LP2 anymore. Looks cool though, I hope he pulls through.

Re: Looperlative LP2
With the DL4 you can play the beginning of a loop over and over if you stomp on the play once, but the loop wouldn't repeat after. He had his M9 modded so he could retrigger the loop AND have that loop repeat
