ProTone pedals?

Anyone heard of these? http://www.protonepedals.com/
I stumbled upon them today and they caught my eye- some really cool artworks (maybe a little too "industrial" and not enough "independent" but I'm a sucker when it comes to octopuses and squids artworks: http://www.protonepedals.com/products/m ... phase.html).
This phase shifter also has a youtube video demo, and it sounds really clean with guitar... Don't know if it would work with bass though... Too bad the enclosure is really big for such "2 knob pedal"...

Anyone tried any of these on bass? The "Flying Eye" envelope filter looks like it could do the work...

I've looked at the ones they have on FuzzHugger and thought about looking into 'em. But I've still got such a long list of wants that they're rounding out the bottom right about now.

Although now that I've gone and looked at the ProTone page, I'm intrigued by the Raven chorus. I'm not much one for chorus, but the fact that the Raven involves a degree of grit and can be calibrated for bass makes it more interesting to me than the average chorus... hmmmmm...

I heard about this company quite a while ago. I haven't had the pleasure of trying out any of their pedals, but they're meant to be really good/decent.

I think Pro Tone is underrated and often overlooked (especially in the indie fuzz-loving crowd!). I took a risk on them, considering the crowd that typically hangs at FuzzHugger, but I did it for a reason!
The Peligro is one of the best fuzzes I've used. The Rhino--I don't know where that design came from--but it kills every other octave down I've tried.

They're not high or low priced, kind of in the middle (but the highest priced stuff FuzzHugger will probably ever carry).
I think they've been affected by the fact that they don't give off the appearance of being boutique (as far as style and the quality of their website!)...which, I think leads some people to think that Pro Tone is a big company that should be selling cheap pedals...rather than just one guy soldering up pedals. It'd probably help them to make their website look really plain! haha. But that's not their style...and I think it's kind of refreshing to see boutique pedals with art that has their sort of colorful rock/tattoo-art vibe.
