Can anyone ID this Japanese Teisco thing?

Where can I get a replacement? It also needs a spring.

Definitely take a shot of the neck plate. It'll probably either be blank or say "Japan". (That'd be a dead giveaway.)

I moreso meant if there were a source for a narrower bridge.

I took photos with the TOM on so you could see the spacing; to the right of the actual saddle, it is roughly in place on the low E. In the high E saddle or slightly to the left of it, the high E would be in place. The wiring seems ungrounded. If I hold my finger on the jack while playing, the pickup doesn't make noise when touched.

The neck plate doesn't say anything. The string retainer seems to be stock. The neck may not be original, or ill fitted, as the truss rod adjustment is pressed forcefully against the body inset.

Yeah, have to agree with Bobby Nelson, it's definitely Japanese.

Not sure where you'd look for a narrower bridge. Maybe Bobby has a suggestion.

Grounding the electronics should be easy enough.

I've never seen a guitar that looks quite identical (though that's not really saying much about Japanese guitars of that period). I had the same thought about the neck not being original to the body. Some of those guitars were very poorly fit together though. As long as everything lines up correctly, you should be good. Pretty sure it's Seventies. Was the seller able to tell you anything else about it?

I got it from Goodwill. I bought a cheap bridge from Ebay, and a Bigsby spring and pots.
