Best way to power large amount of pedals?

Hey, sorry i dont post too often, i was brought here by a guy you may know called HT samurai who i know from another forum, and sorry if this is an old topic you see every week, i tried searching but couldnt find what i was after.

what is the best way of powering say 10-15 pedals with minimum noise, i tried UK equivalents of onespots etc and they all plain suck for any more than about 5 pedals, which is enough to get me by for just jamming, but if im playing a show i NEED most of my pedals, and i just cant find a way of powering them without god awful amounts of hissing and popping etc. i know there are guys like the trex fueltank and voodoo lab pedal power that have isolated outs, but they only power 8 pedals, and i have heard if you daisy chain them you get just as much noise as a onespot, im not shelling out £130 just so i can power 8 pedals, and im certaintly not gonna buy 2 because thats an obscene amount of money

i have seen some of you guys have pretty sweet boards, whats the best way of powering 15 max pedals

I have 10 pedals on my board and use the Voodoo Lab pedalpower. Most of my pedals have a low mA draw so I daisy chain the 2 that don't fit from the 8 outputs. As long as there aren't grounding issues between the pedals you're daisy chaining, it should work out fine. With a fifteen pedal setup you could probably be fine daisy chaining two pedals to each output. Another option would be to plug a onespot into the back of a pedalpower since it has the AC in. That way you could power 8 pedals through the pedalpower then power the rest with the onespot, all through one box.

There is no cheap way to get isolated outs to every pedal. Usually people will daisy chain low current pedals (dirt pedals).

EHX big muff
danelectro cool cat vibe, chorus and transparent od (i got the dano love going on)
trex tremster and tonebug reverb
tcnova repeater (has its own adapter i use)
Boss ge-7 and tu-2
phase 90
vox valvetone

earnie ball vp jr (passive, so not neccesary)
soon some sort of wah as my wahprobe broke
got my eyes on an EHX memory toy for my board too.

if i were to play a show this is probably the max i would need, i have a few more that i occasionally use for recording.

my pedals rotate frequently, but i generally go for half decent ones, the boss pedals are the noisyest and get on least with my power supplies, i have found the tonebug reverb to be quite noisy too at times. but as soon as you battery it up the noise goes away.

i have alot of Od/fuzz pedals, which i understand are low power draw.

edit: i could probably onespot all the dist pedals and use the pedal power for everything else, im sure i can cut one or two out to make it 13, 8 on the trex/voodoo labs/whatever i end up getting and 5 on the onespot

PP2 -- especially if you have a lot of gain pedals. They're isolated power supplies so you'll cut down on noise.
There are other more expensive options too.
Onespots are cheap, but they have their disadvantages.

cool, the trex is cheaper over here, are they pretty much the same or is it worth the extra £30 for the Vl?

Keep in mind only the fuel tank jr has isolated outs. The regular fueltank has shared grounds between the 9v outs.

but the fuel tank and the jr, too, have extensions you can daisy with them and still have a good grounded signal.

Unless the power supply has isolated inputs, they are primarily glorified daisy chain wallworts. I know the Dunlop DC Brick is like a daisy chain set-up. The thing you have to remember is how many milliamps the power supply can take. Dunlop says the Brick can take up to 1000mAs. Just add up your combined mAs on your pedals and go from there w/ respect to your power supply.
