JHS twin twelve - good for lo-fi ?
Just found out about this cool new JHS pedal. I thought it would just be another overdrive but this one sounds pretty sweet
Does anyone have one ? Could be nice for those 90's lo-fi overdriven tones...

JHS is good for a lo-fi poop holder. Unscrew the bottom plate, poop inside and there you go!

Sounds really versatile, I like the higher gain settings best. Nice pedal.

Yeah I don't know if I'd buy a JHS pedal. Sounds pretty good, though.

Get a Penny Pedals Fingerprint if you want the lo-fi gritty tones.

SS/BS Mini or FUCK are the shit for lofi dirt. The Buzzz also does mad low gain ocatvey tones.
I see the PP fingerprint mentioned heaps for these kind of tones. Fairfield Circuitry unpleasant surprise is mad as well. There's also fun to be had by cranking a SHO or two.
Anything but fucking JHS

Best for lofi:
filters filters filters
both graphic & parametric eq
FROSTWAVE RESONATOR.
all of the above plus your favorite dirt pedals (you have some very nice BJFE right?)
Also:

Re: JHS twin twelve - good for lo-fi ?
I did have some sweet BJFE pedals but sold them all, they sounded really good but were too much money...
Thanks for the Fingerprint v2 suggestion ! Might fit right up my alley for what i'm looking for. The price is good (I remember these were around $500 3 years ago) but I'm worried it'll be more a fuzz than a overdrive... I liked the JHS because it has the capability of being a fuzzy overdrive as well as more traditional lo-fi overdriven tones...

Re: JHS twin twelve - good for lo-fi ?
Maybe, also Mid Fi Electronics Overdrive but Mid Fi Electronics is really hit or miss with me, I also have a feeling there's lots of differences between pedals that should be the same so you can catch a great one or a shitty one and Mountainking, yeah, it seems like a huge box that does almost nothing to me I dunno.
I really like my Henretta Pinkman, it actually does exactly what jb2106 describes in my experience, it goes from lofi overdrive to fuzz and in between.
This is closer to my personal list, I just wanted to include everything for the sake of the topic:

D*A*M Red Rooster
Heavy Electronics Radio Havana
Idiotbox Static
Lotus Pedal Designs Snowjob
