I like that the URL says "Your move Lush" but the headline says Catherine Wheel. Maybe the guy realised there was no way in hell Lush was ever getting back together.

I was just about to comment that I really wished Kitchens of Distinction would get back together and they have? :wha?:
How the fuck did I miss that?

I like to imagine that there was a heated argument between the SEO folks and the managing editor about that one.

"BUT I HATE THE CATHERINE WHEEL!"
"BUT NO ONE CARES ABOUT LUSH!"

About time Andy Bell was back in a decent band. post-2000 Oasis were OK, but for me, the only good song Bell wrote in Oasis was "Turn Up The Sun" and Beady Eye proved Oasis was all Noel. Hilariously, Andy Bell's "other" band, Hurricane #1 (formed post-Ride, disbanded when Bell joined Oasis) have also reformed, without him.

Ride's one-off reunion in 2001 for that Sonic Youth documentary was pretty cool though:

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey... stuff.

Damn, that makes me realize that I saw Ride live almost 20 years ago (with Faith No More at the same event, good times...) :animal:

More excited about Swervedriver and Ride than I got about Slowdive. I like Hallstead's solo stuff I've heard more than the Slowdive stuff. Still want the Soft Focus patch.
