Damn, I hope they'll play that in Japan. I saw them twice in France, some of the best concerts I ever saw.
Neubauten's probably my favourite band, there's something in their music that's just different from anything else.

Whoa, didn't know they had an album coming out. Really digging this song. While I love older, industrial clangy bangy Neubauten, the softer and often sinister sounding stuff like this has always been my favorite material from them. Excited for this one.

Not yet but I hope it happens. On their site they say that this album is meant to be experienced live.
They have a cool song by song write up of the album. It's about WWI.

I started with watching the Halber Mensch flick. It's on youtube. And it's great.

I'm totally jelly. I've been listening to them for pretty much as long as I've known that Blixa exists (so like 4-5ish years since one of my friends got me into Nick Cave & Bad Seeds), and I still can't spell their name.

Based on what you said about Throbbing Gristle (keeping in mind that I'm not really into them and only know of a few of their songs...), I'd start with their more industrial stuff from the 80s.

While not 80s (but sounds 80s as fuck), probably one of my favorite songs ever:

+1million to the Silence is Sexy recommendation too!
