Have a few things I wish I hadn't purchased.
A wireless system for the couple band I was in during high school. Kinda fun, but a waste of money.
A THD Univalve that I bought off of a friend. Can make some good sounds, but not my thing.

The only guitar I actually miss is an sg classic, but that was because of how nice the neck was, I didn't care for the looks of the guitar itself and got this gold top in trade...

Gear I couldn't afford, tonnes while I was in school, a yellowed rick 360 with black hardware and a trini Lopez 335 that danocaster used to own still really sting. The 335 was a neck repair with newer pickups, but he sold it for $2500 iirc, good luck ever seeing a deal like that again :(
Plenty of noise, little discernible skill or talent

I passed on a anti nautilus that was being sold lower than what the new batch was worth. Granted I was able to pay medical bills and thus am alive to hunt for one, but it stings.

Tech 21 Power Engine 60. Purchased it before the price hike. Anyways, my intent was to use it with my Vox Tonelab and it worked wonderfully together. Traded it at guitar center for $100 towards a Schecter C4XXX, which about 4 years later I'm starting to enjoy.

About 3 years ago I worked at Best Buy's musical instrument department and when they slated to close that section I purchased thousands of dollars worth of pedals and gear (got some amazing deals), I regret not buying more EHX pedals (at my employee discount) and a coffin bass case. I always had a love affair with coffin case and it looks like they went belly up... :( At least I have 2 guitar cases from them...

Kinda wrecked my first "decent guitar" as a teen so when I inevitably grew out of the metal-y thing I could only sell it for peanuts. Buying a succession of things that if I'd thought about it at all weren't what I really wanted. Selling my DMM and Fairfield Four Eyes. Buying some pedals that I was never going to be able to resell for half what I got them for.

And passing up on the odd great craigslist deal here and there through the years I guess.

That's basically it; was a dumb teen, made some silly purchases, and sold a couple of things that are easy to get back. Just money stuff that doesn't matter! :)

I never sell gear to pay bills. I just use the food money to pay the bills then shoplift the food I want to eat. Did you know that you can fill a trolly with good food, and if you time it right you can pass the trolly out un-noticed.

Yeah, that's such bullshit.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't hacked into every guitar I own, because some of them would be sold.

My pops sold his 1970 Les Paul Deluxe during the 80s to pay for groceries. I think he said he got like $300 for it at the time.

I'm buying my third Malekko 616 tomorrow used. I keep flipping them and I shouldn't because I love them. I'll be smarter, this time.
