RIP Wayne Static

Post by bigchiefbc »

He was probably the coolest "rock star" that I met. Totally gracious and nice, not cocky or self-important. RIP, man :(

Sad news to hear, I'm a little suspicious of how his circumstances of death aren't revealed, but I guess it's his family's wishes.

I never listened to Static-X as a kid, honestly their looks put me off. I was into Pink Floyd and The Guess Who when Nu-metal was peaking. If I was more angsty as a teen, I'd be more into them.

Sad news indeed, Static X were one of the very first bands I ever got into.

Lots of cool textures and tones on their first record.

also, 'Evil Disco' may be the best self-appointed genre ever.
