I voted Linux but in fact, I have both Ubuntu 9.10 & Win XP dual boot system.

I used to have that, but I got fed up with the system booting Linux when I wanted windows when I wasn't looking. It probably had to do with having to reach inside my old laptop when I wanted it to turn on.

MPlayer and VLC can handle just about anything. Oh, and Flip4Mac for Windows movies.
