I think it makes sense as to why Brady started his own company now, I doubt I could see something like this fall under the Walrus Audio brand, it's too cool.

This might be one of those instances where I want to hear some BL play some Satisfaction in his wife's giftwrap room on his AC while she's out blowing the gardener or something... Alone and alone...

Does every pedal purchase come with a free spooky campfire?

This times 1000.

When coffee and riffs came out I decided that I thought Brady was cool as hell despite the Bloooooooooze tendencies of Walrus. Don't get me wrong, I think aesthetically WA does cool shit but the pedals don't blow me away.

Old Blood Noise is doing cool shit and following them throughout this journey of coffee and riffs and now to this I couldn't be more pumped for the stuff they do.

I know there were some haters on the Black Fountain videos saying they were sort of pretentious and that's respectable, I can empathize with that if it's not your style but I like it a helluva lot more than some dude in his cowboy boots telling me about his custom relic'd tele through his Dr. Z with a 1x12 combo.

Different styles appeal to different people. I think Seth, Brady and the other dudes involved in this shit are knocking it out of the park. This was a solid 10 minutes of ambient droned out reverted and delay drenched doomy shit and it ruled.

Backed hared. Will likely buy this pending some more demos. Secret Satan just exclude this from your hunting -- I cannot resist.

lastly, this:

I only say god dammit because I don't need more to GAS for right now. Looks super cool. And would fit perfectly for my imaginary spooky surf band.

I feel like old blood is what Brady always wanted walrus to be
From the early demos of walrus they were always trying to market to the weirder side of the guitarist spectrum, their artist demos were really cool and usually very noisy which was a nice change
It seems like the blooz and p&w dudes just jumped on board which shifted the brand perception :idk:

Old blood noise definitely seems cooler though, I hope their videos act as a kick up the arse for other builders
Very good stuff

Walrus still have some cool pedals, like their Deep Six and the Descent, but I really don't care much for most of the distortion stuff save for the Janus, because joystick controls.
