Webb's has probably got the best selection of weird old Sunn and Peavey, but there's C&M, New Orleans Music Exchange, and of course Guitar Center.
There used to be a place called International Vintage, but I believe he's shuttered his shop and only does online sales now.
Oh, and there's a Pawn shop around here that has a crazy amount of beautiful, but overpriced
, vintage guitars. The name escapes me at the moment though.
Any used item you're looking at has to stay in the store for 30 days though, so keep that in mind. Pawn shop laws, and all.
If you get out the Guitar Center way, hit me up! My name is Foster!
We can talk about guitars, amps, and FUZZ!!!

Fuck guitars. Make your way over to Cochon for a meal and make sure to get a flight of moonshine, then head out for some music: spotted cat or anything on Frenchman street, or kermit's new place. And mini golf in the park. And beignets.

My favorite place to eat is Adolfos above the Apple Barrel on Frenchman. Italian-creole cuisine, very rich, not too expensive. Be sure to get there some time before 7 (or earlier) if you want to eat.
In the Bywater, there is Elizabeth's (big brunch place but serves a great dinner), Maurepas, Booty's etc but our favorite is Suis Generis. They change the menu every day and most of the time it is very good. Not expensive, the waitress is always nice, not a big place either and never crowded. They are open until midnight.
Then there is Bacchanal, outdoor wine bar with good food. If you are there on Monday, go see Helen Gillet's weekly gig. She is a looping cellist extraordinaire.
If you want to go see some bands beyond the usual Nola stuff, there is Siberia, Hi Ho Lounge and Saturn Bar, all on the lake side of St Claude.
That is all I got.

Thanks doom! We hit willies yesterday, and went down to Frenchman street. Stopped by the spotted cat and left after a few minutes. Love the food down here but the music doesn't resonate with me. Not a fan of the quarter/touristy shit. Some streets reek of puke.
