Well I don't know how it works but if my cables just sound better with age I'm going to enjoy it rather than question it. I've found evidence that headphone break-in has some truth to it. Can't really find anything about cables. Eh, I like the mystery of it. I don't give a shit about science, I just want to enjoy what I'm listening to. I'm guessing that the nicer gear you have the more revealing it is of subtle changes in conditions of your gear.

Lol
For anyone that doesn't know what I'm referencing:

Serotonin release and OCD tendencies being sated from being able to use and fiddle with your new toys isn't something that should be underestimated when it comes to the really important thing (positive consumer experience), but as you said, it's a fucking headphone cable.

Make sure your table/cart are properly set up is probably of utmost importance.

Just take good care of. Never stack them on top of each other if it can be avoided. If you have a limited budget, just start by getting the albums you really cherish and listen to a lot. I've got a couple that hardly get played any more, feels like a shame.

And now that I have one, a dope headphone setup is amazing

My friend moved to Japan for a year and left me a bunch of Dino Jr. albums (I've got his latest solo album too). After this OM album, I'm throwing on some Mascis.

Not that you asked me, but I have everything they've ever put out on wax, save Gebel Barkal and Adavatic Songs.

Fucking nice :thumb:

I actually have Adviatic Songs and Variations on a Theme. I plan to get everything I can though. Adviatic songs was incredible sounding on my new setup.

If you can you should hunt down Conference Live. It's pretty tremendous, and a good representation of when they had Emil but hadn't really transitioned into the full three piece yet.

My Variations LP is sealed, since I bought the CD and the Record at the same time so I could have a way to put the album on my computer. 2005 was a dark time for people trying to rip vinyl.

Go On.

I mean, I've heard it, and I don't really have any burning urge to pick it up. I definitely hunted harder for the Six Organs split.
