Paul's crazy guitar style definitely fits them, and it's not like the Surfers couldn't get heavy themselves so it's not a stretch. Really fucking awesome. I wish Gibby would get over the rap thing so the Surfers could do music that doesn't suck.Joe Gress wrote:Really fucking digging this as well.
BTW, did I say I love Paul Leary? This is by far the most richly textured Melvins record ever. I think he'd be a tight fit in Fantomas too, if even just for a one off.
