Re: Rigs as Shrines?
My rig is not altar or shrine worthy yet, but one day... one day.

You mean like this?

It's definitely been built from the ground up over time with new pieces coming and going. My '87 Amer Std Strat, '71 LP Std, my '96 Mesa Tremoverb (was combo converted to head), and my SansAmp have been with me for ages though. Between 18-26 years for those core pieces, others come and go around those. Pretty sure I'm settled on this board for the stereo rig, don't really want for anything except maybe an Analog Man Bi-Chorus. Also pretty sure the SG Std and LP Jr Spec (not pictured) are here to stay. I love those guitars super hard.
Also, note the shrines to Marvel and DC characters atop the amps. I'm currently down to Thanos & Death on the T-Verb and Dr. Doom on the KMD though.

Re: Rigs as Shrines?
Ditto. I actually have a shrine of sorts with a bunch of occultish things and religious artifacts on my shelf. I should move the rig to in front of it once I'm home.Gone Fission wrote:Truth, and well revived.
