Ok, anyone in AZ or the tri state area going to this? Sunn O)))'s only show in the US this year! Goatsnake, and The Body should be incredible as well. Did I mention Sunn O)))?

I want to see them again. The venue that I saw them at the first time was small and while it was an awesome performance, I'd really like to see them somewhere even bigger to hear them even louder. It was cool to hear Sunn pretty much as just Sunn though, with minimal PA support

Yep skully, this is at the Rialto and it's a huge place with a killer sound system. I keep hearing of sunn playing these little tiny venues, and honestly I don't think it does them justice. This is my first time seeing them and I cannot begin to tell you the shockwaves it sent in Tucson when they announced this thing. I will get some sort of pics and video of the show, possibly a full recording on my iphone.

Awesome! Yeah, as much as they use a lot of amps, I feel like the PA is as important to their performance as the on-stage amps. Excited for you!

Heh, definitely. That video from the Belgian church was awesome. And the PA IS all important when seeing a band like Sunn.

Definitely one of the most entertaining bands I've seen live. They were touring with Boris and the drummer was acting as the singer for Sunn 0))).
