She's such a badass...

that's what's going on.

Yeah, I'd listened to this already.

I don't know what's going on at 6:20, but it looks like she's got a volume pedal, a DL4 and an expression pedal. I know she sometimes also uses a ring mod. She may be using that and the DL4 at 16:57.

There's some looping, there's two amps in the picture (so assume looper/stereo is running to one), and before the gain is kicked on at 6:20ish, there's a lot of delay lurking in the background. Then it just turns to more delay + flange + lots of gain and some overt looping.

Could definitely get this with just about any looper, some delay, and something like a Lexicon Vortex where you can select envelope stacking of effects and things into the loop without using another pedal or foot to do it. Add absolutely molten gain (octave fuzz into another fuzz would be my go-to), and bingo.

Yep, that's King Buzzo's amp.

Ah, still could be line to board or just good setup/mixing as well.

I *can* get sounds like that out of one chain (particularly if I'm not having to engineer/record at the same time) if I wanted, even on a one-amp arrangement.
