Whoa. I'm sold, even without a bass demo. $99 preorder is pretty sweet, too. Regular price is $120. Ken had mentioned that he was going to make a couple lower priced Fuzzes. This makes me excited to see what else he has cooking.
I guess more info and a bass demo are on the way.

I wonder if Devi had anything to do with designing this? ~$100 fuzz is her area of expertise after all.

I dunno. I think having her name anywhere near this is gonna make people wary. Im totally on board though. This seems to have a lot of range. I heard square wave synthy sounds, some lower octaves at some point, screechy oscillation, and trashy lo fi tones. For $99, that sounds like a lot. This is the top of my fuzz list suddenly. Gonna preorder after the weekend. If it isn't good on bass, I'm sure it would flip. Or make a good SS gift.
My board is gonna be like 8 Fuzzes and maybe 3 other things if I keep this up.

I don't think so either. I've been writing a lot of music meant to be played as a drum/bass 2 piece so the greater variety of sounds at my disposal, the better. I haven't jived with a lot of modulation. Just FUZZZZZ and delay and the Raptio.Chankgeez wrote:neonblack wrote: My board is gonna be like 8 Fuzzes and maybe 3 other things if I keep this up.There's nothing wrong with that.

Re: New INFANEM fuzz - 141g
Just found some more info on Facebook:
Coming in under a week: the 141G Fuzz.
It combines early 2000s boutique-style oscillating textures with classic Fuzz Face-style feel and touch sensitivity, all with simple and intuitive controls. And, for the oscillation intolerant, a built-in noise gate lets you have quiet between notes while perfectly retaining the tone and feel of the circuit. Oh, it's also extremely bass-friendly.

Re: New INFANEM fuzz - 141g
it sounds....pretty goddamn good. Really bass heavy. ME LIKEY.
Also, for some reason I don't like 1590B's with top jacks. There are so many 125B's with top jacks that having one that is physically shorter surrounded by 125B's is just cumbersome for some reason. My Driving Notion drives me crazy enough that I'm planning a rehouse, but I'm whack.

Buy this and rehouse it together with the Notion. Problem solved!
I love dual pedals too much. And rehousing. Every time I see a new fuzz, I'm like "what would this be good shoved into a box with?"
This is an interesting way to do a preorder. No specs or pics, just one demo. As soon as he releases specs and pics, the discount is over. Its like a "trust me" discount.

Sounds good, it's got some special kinda things to it especially in the lower register, I love that side of it in the demo.
His There's No Future In Fuzz was incredible, I wish he did another run of those.
