I don't really think having any kind of opinion about music is very important or meaningful at all. I rarely like talking about music because in our culture it just seems like a weapon to cut people down and make the wielder feel validated. Which I TOTALLY used to do. And I think ever since having this realization my enjoyment/love of the search for new music has diminished greatly. I still really enjoy writing music though

I sometimes wonder if the information in my head pushes out other memories. This past week I researched the history of Adidas and Puma, tomatoes, firehouse poles, several phrases, and a dozen other things. For no reason. I probably lost some memories of my childhood or something.

I flip between Dub's idea and the idea that we do remember it all, but after a while stuff gets moved to another area due to inactivity (and sometimes shows up much later, trigged by dementia or other brain ailments).

That's basically how brain people say it works.
