seeing as most of this season turned out to be pretty uninteresting in the end i'm looking forward to the new shows dropping in the next couple of weeks. particularly Kiseijuu and Psycho Pass 2. the new Trigger one looks like about the most typical run of the mill show they could have come up with though.
first episode of Terra Formars was pretty cool! glad to see some new sci-fi stuff, there's been too many esper/vampire/magician shows lately and not enough with GIANT HUMANOID COCKROACHES FROM MARS.
Finally got around to finishing the second half of Golden Time and it was actually pretty damn decent. Some cool twists on tropes, romance and drama was great and interestingly paced and there quite a few genuine laugh out loud moments. I cried like a bitch during the last couple of episodes. Good stuff.
The intro and outros were all vomit inducing but apart from that I wouldn't have any trouble recommending the series if you are into the genre.
Guyz, should I watch Madoka Magica? I've heard mixed things about it and I'm not exactly well informed on the "Magical Girl" genre, am I going to get anything out of it?

Yeah i'd say it's worth the time. Especially if you're into weird SHAFT animation like later in the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei series. People carry on about it being the best or worst thing ever too much. It's a pretty dark series and a decent deconstruction of the whole 'magical girl' thing. 8/10 for me. Its only 12 episodes and you can skip the first two movies really. The third one is a bit of a headfuck, worth watching though.
