Yes, yes you can...

Just cause they have a certain style in the vids doesn't mean that's all it's good for...

I could Hella Spacegaze with this thing...

Any links to decent demos? To any strymon product? Much appreciated. :thumb:

I mean I've owned a Timeline and a Mobius (twice, still have the second) and both are amazing.

I've never heard Strymon come out with a bad product. They are expensive, but well worth it IMO.

Thanks. Both of those pedals seem pretty well packed with features that are easy to access, but the sound seems too...I don't know but maybe I just don't like digital? :idk: doesn't seem worth it. But great demos :thumb:

Yea a lot of people don't for whatever reason.

I actually like most digital pedals that I've played. I really can't tell the difference most of the time.

I only own a couple digital pedals, that i've bought recently since frequenting ilf and am really happy with them. Otherwise it wasn't from back in the mid 90s when i used a digitech 2101 that I used digital effects. I still own and use it too :erm:

You probably mean sound sterile.
In the digital world, I prefer my Empress SuperDelay to the Timeline or the El Capistan.
But thats a matter of taste.

yeah, sterile and cold. for effects that are part of the "natural" sound digital just doesn't please me. for glitchy/wacked out sounds i like digital. except for the wacked out sounds available from some digital reverb and delay pedals it just doesn't make sense when you can still get analog pedals or use actual plate reverb etc...:idk:

 each to their own
i haven't really liked any analog modulation/delay/reverb i've tried. except for certain flanger circuits. i find that digital pedals are better for making a guitar sound like... not a guitar.
i also find with digital pedals you can usually work backwards from a high resolution repeat of the signal for a desired sound instead of having to immediately deal with any drastic inherent signal degradation/filtering etc.
