No I got an email immediately saying that the would be shipped out within 36 hour barring the weekend (which it was) so the went out Monday.
I like the feel, much better than the stock strings. No flop at all.

Re: Bass vi
What's your vi look like? It's a build right?
I'm curious about the bridge your using if you got a trem. The stock bridge is doable on mine but I don't dig it floating. Thinking about a replacement.

Has anyone stripped one of these down to the wood grain? Curious to see if it would be worth staining.

I have a sunburst. It's not pretty. If you go that route, sell the stripped body on the bay, and get a replacement body.

Re: Bass vi
I don't know if I'll ever get use to 6 strings and so close together.
It's lots of fun buts it's been difficult to get ideas out on. I just played with my vi for a couple hours trying to get this idea I had out. Than I picked up the T-40 and it was out in 10 min. Got to try to get these clumsy fingers to play some real chords.

I dunno dude. Maybe it's cause you're more used to bass than guitar in the first place? I'm especially stoked to play bass like a guitar instead of playing guitar like a bass

Re: Bass vi
Yeah I own a shitty guitar that I fuck with now and again but yeah playing 4 string for 20 years than switching things up makes my fingers seem REALY stupid and clumsy.
