Post by Ghost Hip »

This is the thread where we talk about how bad we want the TC T2 Reverb.

I've actually been on the lookout for a second reverb. This sounds promising!

Position 1: Warm space and slow modulation with stretchy, elastic qualities—slow undulations surround your tone and coat it in thick gobs of reverb.
Position 2: Long sustaining verb mixed with watery, organ-like vibrato—a gentle modulation trails from a smooth, silky decay.
Position 3: Clear, glassy reverb with an ominous low end throb—pristine rack reverb backed by a slow pulse.
Position 4: Huge cathedral without any boundaries—imagine the haunting verb that would emanate from a cathedral of infinite dimensional space.
Position 5: Slow pitch bending reverb with doubling effect—this is a very unique gentle chorus effect that inspires more often than not.
Position 6: Syrupy plate reverb with warm tails and subtle modulation—the kind of reverb guys like Neil Young wishes they had.
Position 7: Flanger-Verb with classic 80's sweep that stays in tune—a different type of modulation that sounds like a studio rack.
Position 8: Deep, natural hall with maximum allowed decay—perfect for huge ambient swells.

EDIT: Oops, I just ordered it :idk:

Expect a demo next week then, I guess

for real. that wide pitch bend verb sounded fucking sweet.

and trails. fuck. want. this or the new subdecay... i'd never even considered a new reverb pedal but now we got 2 with trails dropped so suddenly, it's like christmas came early.

Never had any interest in the first trinity, but oh man... modes III and V sound incredible. Think my supernatural may finally have some competition

I had the original version. I'm glad they got rid of the useless chopper/trem mode. Might have to pick this guy up, cause I was already thinking about getting a Hall of Fame again. Dat pitch bend.

They also did the Alter Ego 2, which I want as well :(

I could see this being extremely useful on bass. with all the different modes, there's bound to be one or two that don't muddy up. I was gonna get a ghost echo, but this is the same price range with WAY more options.

I can't wait to try it with a fuzz in front and back! :joy:

Has anyone messed with the TonePrint Editor on any TC pedals? Is it as gimmicky/restricted as it sounds, or can you dial in some crazy stuff with it?

You can do some pretty cool stuff! I find it annoying as hell having to have the pedal plugged in to the computer and an amp to play around with it, it would be cooler if they had some prerecorded sounds it applied the effect to, but you can make all sorts of fun noises.

God damn this looks nice. I was selling my Hall of Fame with no thought of replacing it ("2 reverbs is enough!" I thought... ) but yeah I want this. All of the things I actually used in the HoF (huge ambience) but better and more.

It's a cool thing. I used the tp with a flashbackx4 and made some whacky sounds. Only boner was it didn't have some wave shapes for modulation I wanted, but that's just me. Definitely not a gimmick.

This thing is sexy though.
