Sort of cool, but they didn't fix any of the issues that the seq pedals have: mix is always a trimpot and there's no volume control. The Ooh Wah II I had cut so much volume that it was borderline unusable and I have no reason to suspect the ring tone is any better.
I think the gems in the ZVEX line are the simple stuff. none of his modern pedals have really engaged me at all.
I still think his best one is the woolly mammoth, that thing is cool.
This thing is super interesting and I'd love to try one. The moog mf ring is without a volume knob and it seems fine. Not having a mix knob on the outside is dumb, but my mix knob usually stays. With all those options though, I'd think it'd be on the outside.
I never minded the mix on the inside. I used mine at full wet all the time and it always worked perfectly. Either for sequenced arpeggio sounds or the steps for chords.
Just got one of these from wayyyyyyyy down under and need some help. I have read the manual, but man it's all so much! LOL!! So I don't really know what the fuck I'm doing? Are there any sample settings anywhere? I hate it when someone makes a complex pedal like this and doesn't include that shit. Makes me think they were high when they thought of it. LOL

I have one, I don't use it to it's full potential, but I think I understand it enough to maybe explain, though I'm not sure I could do better than the manual. Anything in particular you don't get?

I'll go through later and let you know. I need to try it a few more times. LOL!
For the most part I don't understand how to make it go through all the steps for a sequence. Like it does it partially but not even to the second line of LED's.

You can adjust the steps of the sequences by turning the lower right knob without pushing it in. Turn clockwise to increase steps, counter to decrease them, and they loop both ways (so if you keep turning clockwise it will eventually turn from 16 steps to 1). Also see what the switch above the speed knob in the upper left is set to. If it's set to step, then you have to push the bottom left footswitch to advance steps in the sequence. It will go from top left to bottom right when set to sequence mode, and it will jump all over the place when set to random.
Hope that helps! Like I said, it's a really cool pedal, I don't use it all the time or to it's full potential, but it's always fun when I play with it.

Hey thanks so much! I tried out some of the stuff you suggested and this thing is nuts! haha. I think I need to break it open and turn it all the way wet. I read there's an internal mix in there. I'm really digging it though! I love the random weird shit it does. I'll be playing and then be like "what the fuck was that". LOL! Killer pedal.
