Broughton's Rules - Don Cab-related

Post by jrmy »

Any peeps familiar with these fellas?

I just found out about them - they recorded this album at a studio I dig in Western MA (my old slouching grounds), and are hitting the road with Torche. Apparently the album was recorded completely live, which is always cool in my book (especially because there's a fair amount in this song that I would otherwise have assumed to be overdubbed arrangementification).

Definitely getting a good Pelican/SY/Russian Circles vibe...

Just saw them last night in support of Torche. Extremely cool set -- some of it felt improvised, very free form.

Plus their drummer makes amazing drummer faces.
