Maybe I missed it, but what's that extra switch for on the fm2?
These are all elevating you, lauwiz, to pedal peddling legend status, btw.
That evil stack bee baa looks extra rad! But so do the others.

The toggle on the FM2 is for clipping diodes, one for standard clipping and one for asymmetrical clipping which has more output.

Yea the signal is already clipped/distorted before it hits the diodes. Clippers always decrease the output, in this one they add a touch of sizzle. I like the asymmetrical mode better, still fuzzy, a little hotter...

It's going out tomorrow during my lunch break. I hope your expectations are met. This last batch has sounded so great, I'm extremely happy with the diverse textures if all of these boxes. I am lacking all on my personal front but need every single one of them.

Doing one last round of tone control tweaks tonight and sending everyone's pedals out tomorrow. Not having a car blows in LA, way better to just get to the post office once. I almost sent it out today but the tone control has limited range in the pots travel. It does sound fantastic. Will be interesting to see what your thoughts are via how it sounds stacked. The Rat definitely pummels the muff and gives that strangled sound when the Rat's volume is high. Back off you get that sweet range where the interact "better." These circuits don't draw much power but they do share the same 9v inline, made me wonder what it would sound like at 18v or so. Both are clipping monsters, with the extra headroom would you get less of that imploding interactivity or not. Worth experimenting...
